Description of Services

 

Clinical Assessments

 Clinical Assessments are very critical in addressing mental health needs. We are endorsed by Alamance Caswell & Centerpoint LMEs’ to provide consumers and families with clinical face to face evaluations. These evaluations are completed by Licensed Professionals with training and expertise in mental health.

 

 

Intensive In Home Services (IIH)

Intensive In Home is a time-limited program (3-5 months) dedicated to the preservation and reunification of families and children (up to age 20), who are at-risk of out-of-home placement, or are returning home from placement because of mental health issues.  IIHS Staff work with families to:

  1. Diffuse current crisis, evaluate nature, and intervene to reduce likelihood and reoccurrence
  2. Ensure linkage to needed community and resources
  3. Provide self-help and living skills training for youth
  4. Provide parenting skills training to help family cope with youth’s disorder
  5. Monitor and manage presenting Psychiatric and Addiction symptoms
  6. Work WITH Caregivers in implementation of home-based behavioral supports

 

 

Community Support Team (CST)

Community Support Team (CST) services consist of mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation services and supports necessary to assist adults (age 18 and older) in achieving rehabilitative and recovery goals. This is an intensive community rehabilitation service that provides treatment and restorative interventions to: assist individuals to gain access to necessary services; reduce psychiatric and addiction symptoms; and develop optimal community living skills.

 

 

Outpatient Therapy

Outpatient therapy is a form of therapeutic treatment delivered by a Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Social Worker which is offered to people who do not need to be hospitalized. This lower level of care allows the patient to live a relatively normal life, simply setting aside time to attend therapy sessions while working, spending time with family, and socializing with friends.

 

 

Multi-systematic Therapy (MST)

(MST) is an intensive family-based treatment that addresses the known determinants of serious antisocial behavior in adolescents and their families. As such, MST treats those factors in the youth's environment that are contributing to his or her behavior problems.

 

 

Tele-psychiatry & Medication Management

Telepsychiatry, or telemedicine, is a specifically defined form of video conferencing that provide psychiatric services to patients living in remote locations. Service provides an array of services, including the diagnosis and assessment and medication management.
